John First learned about Alex's work through his touches on Pad Chennington's album CONTRAST. I'm glad I checked this album out. It's so good and infectious and I can't wait to really get into more of Alex's work. Favorite track: First To Say (ft. Spring Silver & Matthew Clanton).

gay girl Fibre finally introduced another portion of catchy dancing music. It's absolute different to his 810, has another fresh sound although I think it sounds a little bit similar to many recent ff releases.
Anyway the greatest thing that Fibre brings to us is a vocal sampling in Totality and Desire, he literally took some little melodic vocal parts from somewhere and used them here. Heaviness of Rendezvous sound is incredible, it has a simple melody, but I love it. Good Fibre, good EP. Favorite track: Rendezvous (ft. ConsciousThoughts & Aritus).

After 3 years in the making, FIBRE's sophomore EP "Rendezvous" is finally out. Despite its heavily celestial themes, Rendezvous tells a familiar, earthly story about the struggles of growing up from a kid into an adult, and most importantly finding your way in the world. Unlike his debut 810 EP, Rendezvous incorporates all-original disco, pop and boogie compositions, while still maintaining FIBRE's signature French House punch. From start to finish, Rendezvous is an EP that's meant to tell meaningful stories without losing its dance club identity.
